The National Book Award for Fiction was announced November 17. This year's deserving winner is Europe Central by William Vollman. The Osterhout Library owns this title as well as some of his other fiction titles. If you can't get a hold of Europe Central right away, you might like to try Butterfly Stories, The Rainbow Stories, The Royal Family, Argall: a Book of North American Landscapes or Thirteen Stories and 13 Epitaphs to tied you over.
